This is quite a simple effect actually.. I took a photo, and pasted it on 2 layers using Serif photo Plus 6.0, my image editing tool. One layer i selected an irregular path and feathered to a 100, and masked it.
The layer below, i applied a radial motion blur. And hey presto, a neat effect resulted. Dont you think so?

Its a very sad time for Omaha natives and society at large. I refer to the mall shooting by Robert Hawkins, that catapulted Omaha into fame, so much so that President Bush's visit went almost unnoticed. Sadly these kinds of outlet and glory is what is defining fame and society.. Its very sad when this becomes a role model of desired behaviour.Â
In a postmortem fashion, we look at alcohol, drugs and depression as the factors. But quite a few people are victims of one or all the vices. Do they all "borrow" a weapon and give vent to their anger. Obviously not. Herein lies the function of values. Values are the soft skills that are dinned into one's head and defines you when the chips are down. Somewhere something failed in the young boys life.Â

One cannot call an image directly in wordpress in your theme files. For instance I cannot actually place an image with the command
When the page is displayed, nothing happens. This is because of WP taking into account the complete URL and not just referential paths. By providing the correct URL, it would make the task simple. The function getpath(); gets the full base path using the builtin wordpress "TEMPLATEPATH" function. It then substitutes the base path with the URL.

Do you like the idea of flipping pictures? I do. I think it creates a nice feeling of freshness without too much investment in creating actual content. Its actually very easy to implement.. Without much ado, lets dig in..

In an ideal web world, all websites should display the same in any media or device.. (screen, printer, mobile, speech synthesiser etc. etc.) This actually helps a lot of readers recieve the website in a manner that is correct for them. What do I mean? The sight impaired can either recieve a site in a braille friendly manner or listen to the site read out to them in an audio format. (text to speech.).
