Yes, I finally own one. The thrill of owning a brand new product is absolutely different from waiting it out. We were in Chicago attending a Mani Sarma concert, and couldn’t make it to the product launch. On saturday morning Massa my geek hubby visited the Apple store. I was busy coffee shopping. Massa didnt want to buy it, as he wanted to wait out the product, check the AT&T connections etc. On monday, i insisted that we visit the Apple store in Omaha to check out the product. I checked it out, liked it so much that i wanted one, no questions asked. The next logical stops were the buying, hooking it up with a cingular connection etc. I love the UI. I am totally in love with the pinch and spread mechanism of enlarging and reduction. I like the qwerty interface. One thing I noticed was that I tend to tilt my finger while typing, resulting in a right shift, as I type. I love the .com button. But lazy me already feels that Apple should have provided a suggest feature where in the user types the dot and the device suggests .org, .net, .com etc. [I guess the critic in me never shuts up :)] So far, Miti has used the phone the maximum browsing Utube videos.

Its turned out as good as I thought it would be and even more. There are some UI features that could have been thought out ahead, but am waiting for the s/w updates. But overall, the satisfaction is around 95%. Most important the browser, the push pinch technology and Utube though partial integration plus the window size, the image tilt feature [horizontal or vertical viewing] is a class apart. Raves all the way from me…
Congratulations! Has it turned out as good as you thought it would be?
Love the new theme!
