This morning I was thinking about how I blogged, and actually laughed when I realized, that I do not have any post on technical writing and it is my profession!! I then googled “technical writing blogs” to see how many people were out there who wrote on the art and craft of technical writing..

I first visited Robert Nagle’s blog and cackled out loud when I read this:
While searching the web for technical writer resources, I realized that there aren’t any big technical writing blogs. Maybe it’s because tech writers are more inclined to blog about video games or Asian art than their profession. Where do you go for blogging about technical writing?
Tim Rosa’s blog is informative, and the articles are interesting. I especially liked his article, Useful News: Image As Information.
Paul Pehrson’s blog is cool to look at, and fun to read. [The first TW blog that is not boring to look at !!!]
Content Wrangler Community, is a specific social network site for technical writers/content developers.
Not many out there isnt it? So dear readers, in the next few weeks, I shall bring to your attention, some insights into the technical writing field, and share my experiences.
Also read my earlier take on technical writing, as part of a meme response to Shantanu.

Thanks Paul, for the shout out and links. I have registered in the “I’d rather be writing site”…
Appreciate the drop by from a fellow technical writer !!
Hey, thanks for the link to my blog, and thanks for saying it isn’t boring to look at
That made my day!
There are several technical writer blogs that I’m subscribed to in my feed reader; they include the following:
* Don’t Call Me Tina
* I’d Rather Be Writing
* Gryphon Mountain Journals
I’ll stop there, because I’m sure I’m going to get flagged as a SPAM post for excessive links in the content of the comment, but there are some great technical writing blogs out there. Check out the I’d Rather Be Writing site for a wiki list (you should add yours to the list)…
Happy blogging, and thanks again for the link.
